Austin Oktoberfest summation

Well, so far I’ve hit the Oktoberfests I wanted to this year.  Up next: Wurstfest and possibly the Roman Baachanal at TexRenFest.  I’m sensing a theme.  Hmmmm.

I am, despite the void of my great drinking buddy. I’ll muddle on, and hope someday soon he tolerates me again. Ironically, I dick-moved him while I was drunk. Yeah, life is funny. So on to beerfest!

Oktoberfest!

Day two. Flying saucer Oktoberfest was sunnier but had lots of beers, no oompa bands. Nxnw has the bands, bigger servings, and authentic dress. Oh, and lots if babies and weiner dogs.

Friday: Slumber party/girls’ night (complete with toenail painting and puff-painting shirts)

Monday: Liver transplant
Tuesday-Thursday: Recovery, stitches removed
