I was told yesterday was the (31st) anniversary of the “Miracle on Ice” hockey victory. It felt like a gold medal round, but wasn’t. As an adult years later, I realize it was pure politics. But then again, a win’s a win. And I love me some Olympics.
That and the image of goalie Jim Craig draped in a flag just stays with ya.
So, I raise my mug and wear my ’92 jersey in joy.
